Zirconia materials differ in terms of translucency and strength. In addition to the aesthetic features, the level of flexural strength is key for the fabrication of a full arch restoration from a functional point of view. The Prettau® 2 zirconia combines extraordinary flexural strength with excellent translucency.

In addition, the manual colouring technique with Colour Liquid Prettau® 2 Aquarell allows a colour scheme that is exactly matched to the patient’s needs.

The excellent aesthetic properties of the material allow the monolithic design of the restorations. This prevents ceramic chipping. With Prettau® 2 structures from single crowns to full arch bridges, it is therefore possible to offer patients bio-compatible, highly individual and very stable dental restorations.

 

Properties at a glance:


  • Biocompatible zirconia with excellent flexural strength and a particularly high translucency
  • No limitations! Especially suitable for full arch restorations (fully anatomical or reduced with ceramics), but also for single crowns, inlays, onlays, veneers, bars and multi-unit bridges
  • Can be characterised individually for each patient with Colour Liquids Prettau® 2 Aquarell, ICE Zirkon Ceramics and ICE Zirkon 3D Stains by Enrico Steger
  • No ceramic chipping (thanks to the fully anatomical design)
  • No abrasion to the antagonist

  • CAM-dry processing
  • Manual elaboration
  • Further individualisation with Colour Liquids Prettau® 2 Aquarell
  • Sintering (1600 °C)
  • Ceramic layering with ICE Zirkon Ceramics (optional)
  • Staining with ICE Zirkon Stains Prettau® or ICE Zirkon 3D Stains by Enrico Steger
  • Glaze with 3D Glaze Base, Glaze Plus or NEW: Glaze Fluo
  • High gloss polishing
  • Insertion: Cementation or screwing (with titanium bases)

*Gradual-Triplex-Technology: The zirconia is already provided with colour, translucency and bending strength gradients during the production process. This results in a natural colouring, a highly translucent cutting edge and an extremely high bending strength at the tooth neck.
