Prettau® 4 Anterior® Dispersive® is a high translucent zirconia with a dispersive, merging color gradient for the manufacture of single units, inlays, onlays, veneers and max. 3-unit bridges. The new material can be used for fully monolithic structures as well as reduced structures for subsequent ceramic layering.

Due to excellent aesthetic properties and high translucency, the material is well suited for the anterior region. However with a flexural strength of approx. 600 MPa, it is also well suited for the fabrication of posterior teeth. For Prettau® 4 Anterior® Dispersive® processing, neither water cooling nor diamond burs are necessary, which makes the material an ideal alternative to lithium disilicate.

Color infiltration is no longer required. The dispersive shading reproduces the natural tooth colors from dentine to enamel. However, individual pre-sintered characterization is possible for an even more patient-specific result. After sintering, the restoration can be personalized with ICE Zirkon Stains Prettau® and ICE Zirkon 3D Stains by Enrico Steger.

  • Polychromatic pre-colored zirconia with a dispersive, merging and natural gradient
  • Indicated for single crowns, inlays, onlays, veneers as well as 3-unit bridges (full contour restorations or reduced structures for ceramic layering)
  • Ideal for anterior restorations, but also used in posterior region
  • Smooth, merging gradient reproduces natural tooth colors from dentine to enamel (available A1-D4)
  • Color infiltration no longer required, but used to achieve more patient-specific results
  • Limited ceramic chipping due to monolithic design
  • Limited abrasion to the antagonist
  • Ideal alternative to lithium disilicate
  • Final characterization with ICE Zirkon Stains Prettau® and ICE Zirkon 3D Stains by Enrico Steger
 

Processing:


  • CAM-dry processing
  • Sintering (1500 °C)
  • Glaze with the Glaze 3D Glaze Base or Glaze Plus
  • High gloss polishing
  • Insertion: Cementation or screw-retained with titanium bases

*Gradual-Triplex-Technology: the zirconia is already provided with color, translucency and flexural strength gradients during the production process. This ensures a natural-looking restoration with a highly translucent incisal edge and an extremely high flexural strength at the tooth neck.
