By optimizing the production parameters we were able to reduce the hardness of our zirconia blanks in the pre sintered stage. At the same time, bending strength and hardness in the post sintered condition remain the same. These softer zirconia blanks lead to a longer life cycle of milling burs, which reduces costs in the laboratory.
