The Zirkonzahn 5-TEC has been developed by a dental technician for dental technicians. Thus, a high fitting-quality and usability is guaranteed.
It is a 5-axis-milling system which works with up to five milling-heads (optional), hence a classic tool-changer is unnecessary.
The system has especially been developed for zirconia but other materials like aluminium oxide and plastics can also be processed.

During the course the participants will be introduced to the application spectrum of the new CAD/CAM „5-TEC“ by learning how to scan, how to construct on the PC and how to program the milling-unit on the basis of an own patient-case.

Qualification: no qualification needed

Program:

During the course 2 crowns of a demonstration model are modeled. On the first day the self-brought patient case will be scanned, modeled, milled, coloured and sintered.

Day 1:
• Introduction of the 5-axis-milling system CAD/CAM „5-TEC“(The theoretic basics and the general construction of the computer-based system will be explained.)
• Scanning of an abutment and the antagonist
• Virtual construction of the framework/bridge-construction
• Modeling on the PC
• Programing of the milling-system
• Colouring of the framework
• Sintering overnight

Day 2:
• Controlling of the fitting-accuracy
• Tipps and tricks
• Scan / detailed explanation
• Questions

What to bring:

• 1 patient-case incl. antagonist (single crowns or bridges with up to 3 elements). Important: The case must be mounted. The stumps have to be untreated, i.e. without paint and marked preparation border. Block out undercuts with opaque scanning-wax. Produce silicon-bite and bring along.
• Elaboration stones for zirconia
